Gemma arterton
Gemma Christina Arterton was born in Gravesend, Kent, Greater London. Her most well-known work is for playing roles in films like Quantum of Solace, The Disappearance of Alice Creed, along with a host of other like 'Hansel & Grete: Witch Hunters. Her birthplace was in Gravesend, Kent, in Greater London. She began her career after taking classes at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and then made her debut on film as a support role on the comedy movie "St Trinian's'. In the James Bond film Quantum of Solace, which was released within a short time, she was an in-character role. It was an average film which was generally mediocre reviewers. In the following film, she was the leading female character in the fantasy action movie "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time". She also played a supporting role for the French film "Orphan". Arterton has been nominated various awards during her entire career one of which was she received the 'Empire Award' for the Best Newcomer in 'Quantum of Solace' as well as the "Evening Standard Theatre Award' in recognition of her part in the musical 'Made of Dagenham'. In 2011, she was awarded the Glamour Award for the Woman of the year.
