
Suzanne Pleshette was an American actress, voice of film and television born January 31 1937, died on the 19th of January, 2008. Pleshette began her acting career in the theatre and was featured in films in the late 1950s. Later, she was a prominent actor in movies such as Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (633) and Spirited Away (11). From 1972 to 1978, Pleshette was a frequent guest on a variety of TV productions. She also played Emily Hartley, which earned numerous Emmy Award nominations. Pleshette was the daughter of Geraldine (nee Kaplan),[1 and Eugene Pleshette, was born on the 31st of January 1937 in Brooklyn Heights. The parents of the couple were Jewish as were the children of immigrants from Russia, Austria-Hungary. She was the daughter of Geraldine Rivers, a performer and dancer. Her father was a stage director in both the Paramount Theater and the Paramount Theater in Manhattan.
