Dennings had a relationship with Nick Zano her "2 Broke Girls" co-star in 2011 to 2014. The couple began to date Josh Groban after their breakup. Both remained in a relationship up to 2016. Dennings first came across Andrew W.K., a musician during the first year of 2021. They soon began dating and confirmed their engagement in the month of May of 2021. Dennings is a long-time fan of this artist. She has followed him since the year 2014. Dennings admits that even though she is Jewish and was raised to become a member within the Jewish community at a personal and ethnic level, religion is not a major part in her everyday life. Her hobbies include reading, gardening and painting. Earlier in life she planned to go to an art college, however the plans fell through when her portfolio was wiped out by an inundation.
